WE'RE ON A MISSION TO CREATE THE NEXT GENERATION OF BLACK FEMALE TECH LEADERS.

Why We're Here

Our Mission

The TCGi Foundation's mission is to address the diversity gap in tech by breaking down barriers for young Black women studying and entering the field. We want to shift the mindset of what is possible.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the TCGi Foundation provides scholarships to support educational goals for high school seniors and college students studying technology, as well as mentoring, up-skilling, coaching and advocacy to ensure that these deserving young women gain equal and equitable access to employment opportunities.

Why We're Different

The fact is the tech industry lacks diversity. The TCGi Foundation challenges this reality by showing young Black women that a career in tech doesn't just have to be a dream. We do not stop at scholarships; rather, we support them through every step of their tech journey, from high school to post-grad.

With tools such as our Resident Scholar job shadowing program, as well as our mentorship services, the TCGi Foundation fully prepares you for a successful career in tech.

We've Started—But This Is Where We're Going

Since last year, we have awarded $130,000 in scholarships to thirteen incredible women in tech. We continue to aim high. Our goal is to bestow 3 scholarships this year, and 6 by 2026.

We invite you to help us carry out our critical and timely mission to drive innovation and equitable access to opportunities in tech.

When I arrived at TCGi, I couldn't believe how supportive everyone was. I'm a part of this Foundation because this is the same support we're striving to give to young Black women in tech. Just imagine what they can accomplish, even if someone else believes in them before they believe in themselves.
