The TCGi Foundation's mission is to address the diversity gap in tech by breaking down barriers for young Black women studying and entering the field. We want to shift the mindset of what is possible.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, the TCGi Foundation provides scholarships to support educational goals for high school seniors and college students studying technology, as well as mentoring, up-skilling, coaching and advocacy to ensure that these deserving young women gain equal and equitable access to employment opportunities.
The fact is the tech industry lacks diversity. The TCGi Foundation challenges this reality by showing young Black women that a career in tech doesn't just have to be a dream. We do not stop at scholarships; rather, we support them through every step of their tech journey, from high school to post-grad.
With tools such as our Resident Scholar job shadowing program, as well as our mentorship services, the TCGi Foundation fully prepares you for a successful career in tech.
Since last year, we have awarded $80,000 in scholarships to nine incredible women in tech. We continue to aim high. Our goal is to bestow 15 scholarships next year—and 50 by 2025.
We invite you to help us carry out our critical and timely mission to drive innovation and equitable access to opportunities in tech.
