The journey to create Black women leaders of tomorrow doesn’t end with finding that first job. The Foundation wants to keep you engaged with the industry and other professionals in the technology field. Here are links that can connect you with other Blacks in IT and Blacks in the business world.
We will be asking you to become mentors to those coming behind you as we have asked those in the tech field now to provide job shadowing and mentoring.
Those of you who are in corporations may be asked to work with NCWIT to help create an inclusive environment with your department.
Lastly, Let’s talk about creating real opportunities for Black women in tech by starting, owning or investing in tech companies. We have provided information and links to angel investment companies you can be a part of and a certificate program on how to find and invest in Black Tech companies.

Our Mentorship program is tailored for all those seeking professional guidance. This can range from career advice, networking & internship opportunities, resume assistance, to even coaching options. We created this program in hopes that girls who are facing certain barriers, like lack of networking exposure or aid in building a resume, can communicate with female business professionals for both support and navigation. We understand that these barriers women face have no age limit to which they end, which is why our program is open to all ages.
